In addition to voice scramblers, other security techniques are available.

Frequency hopping radios provide communication in almost a non-existent radio environment. This technique uses a broad-band of frequency and the voce "hops" randomly from one frequency to another without the spectrum of the band, at a rate of ten "hops" per second, making it impossible to detect a signal.
